Easter treats

The spread from a little Spring BBQ party we hosted weekend before last.

Now this is my kind of pet!

(Unfortunately I don't think B is in favour of hanging him in office...)

Pulled my Spring/Summer wardrobe out last month.

Always a smart thing to do before buying any new spring items for your wardrobe.

It's great rediscovering items you forget you had!

My haul from the Fashion Forward event a few weeks ago.

Fresh flowers can be pricey, so to make my bouquets go further (literally),

I divided them among several smaller glasses and spread them around the kitchen and living room.

To be able to remember items I love,

I take photos with my Blackberry rather than having to keep a written list.

That's right- it might be a little early in the season, but I'm saying goodbye to tights and hosiery. After ripping a few pairs of tights- some expensive American Apparel ones (eeek!) and a less expensive nude pair- I decided it was just easier (and much less hassle) to expose my bare legs a little early this year. After all, when your jambes are as pale as mine, a little sun exposure is good for those uber white legs!

For anybody who knew me back in my early university days, you might remember there was a time when my wardrobe was over flooded with pink! It wasn't uncommon for me to be wearing 2-4 shades of pink in one outfit. And if I wasn't wearing pink on any given day, I had lots of questions to answer to! 

I saw this flamingo scarf at Pseudio Thursday and it reminded me that because I owned so much pink back then, my roommate nicknamed me "mingo" (shortened from flamingo) since I had so much pink! 

These days pink is not nearly as popular in my wardrobe (I could easily go weeks without wearing any) but this spring I've bought a few new pink pieces- this t-shirt and scarf being 2 of them.

Finally getting into back into the swing of blogging and outfit posts! It kind of feels like coming out of hibernation! With all the colourful spring clothing in shops and a few new additions to my wardrobe I'm finally feeling inspired to post my outfits again. And it certainly helps that there's more daylight hours and warmer weather! I've finally put away my winter clothing and just recently hauled my summer clothing out of storage. It's fun to find out what goodies you might have forgotten about!
